Cake was a basic cake sponge recipe with a layer of strawberry jam layer running though the middle. I then covered the whole cake in icing then when that was going off I applied the cake topper that I got from www.picturemycake.co.uk The cake was complete within 1 hour not taking cooking time into account Overall really easy cake to make and looked really great with the topper (helps hide any mistakes also). Overall thoughts on the cake was it was easy to make and really cheap with great end result. 4 pounds for topper and ingredients really cheap but really nice taste.
