I tried my first batch of cake balls for Halloween. They were mstenor eye balls and thank goodness, because they looked horrible. They cracked and oozed red stuff and the red cake mixed in with the white dipping chocolate. I will try your tip for letting the cake slightly thaw to avoid cracking. Hopefully by Christmas my cake balls will not still look like mstenor eyeballs. Thanks!
